This jersey from the early '80s was a golden period for the A.C.B.B. (Athletic Club Boulogne Billancourt) French amateur team, which in 1977 saw the arrival of Paul Sherwen, and between 1978 and 1982, five more Anglophones were graduates of ACBB, Peugeot's amateur feeder team, English - speaking riders were known as the « Foreign legion ». Robert Millar, Stephen Roche, Phil Anderson, Sean Yates and Allan Peiper turned pro with Peugeot, all of them rode the Tour de France!
